Restore from backup or New install?

while i'm sitting here waiting fedex cleaning itunes , wondering if better restore backup of ipad 1 or set new ipad. gut tells me better set new.

experiences restore backup out there?

 

ive never heard of making difference, isn't windows me or anything.

restored rather check through apps want , set folders , settings on again. no problem here.
