Server App and Admin not allowing me to connect

i having nothing troubles -- name , password correct , work mail, when trying remote admin machine on local network, neither application can connect server. says cannot connect. i've tried rebooting , made sure advice @ following article followed, no avail. won't let me connect longer. else can try?

know name , password correct because can log machine directly them, , can still mail, can't admin machine @ all. frustrations galore.

 

hmmm, exact problem i'm experiencing. fine server until upgraded 10.7.3, @ point smb started returning invalid password ( afp worked fine ). changed password on server using server.app ( smb still failed ), , via users & groups. smb started working, remote server.app / admin stopped. removed login details keychain on remote machine , re-connected. server.app still fails admin works fine...
