Hack into iTunes for iPod touch control?

i got itouch, hooked computer computer crashed few months later. data computer lost therefore not transfer songs itunes library. have 1,000+ songs , around 40 apps touch 500 songs , few apps on library new computer. dilemma can't update itouch , have glitches battery update should fix. can't update if they're not synced , in order sync wipes off ipod , replaces whats on library, correct? apple pisses me off restrictions , cannot buy new itouch since i'll lose half data. can tell me programs/techniques/hacks transfer music files ipod itunes? thanks.
