Some bad luck in downloading "Life on Earth" book

i tried googling around having similar problem ibooks or app downloading, didn't find close enough of match…

more of ibooks or app store type problem specific book. here's what's happening:

tried downloading life on earth ibooks 2 on ipad 2 other day when first launched -- continually won't go through download though, saying "unable download 'e.o. wilson's life on earth' retry or download later store." , can select either later or retry. whichever option choose, i'm still stuck message , won't download.

i've tried downloading book on mac , download fine, when transfer ipad, book icon show almost-completed download progress bar on it, though file downloaded on mac, , has appeared transfer way mac ipad. of not being downloaded, i'm still unable open book.

can download sample of book fine. i've downloaded sample of textbook , works fine. i've tried downloading life on earth book as 2.3gb free space available on ipad. ipad has been turned off , restarted few times on past couple of days.

appreciated. i'm presently without other ideas on try. feedback!

unable download or remove download list.
alert keeps poping every time ibooks started , there's nothing can it.
annoing...
