Singapore Carriers to Offer Camera-less iPhone 4S Models

the jakarta globe reports apple's 3 carrier partners in singapore making plans offer iphone 4s models lacking cameras, move said targeting members of military prohibited bringing camera-equipped phones onto bases. carrier m1 briefly offered camera-less models on website earlier week.

the camera-less phones not, however, officially-sanctioned product offered apple, carriers removing cameras standard devices before sale , charging premium service. modification voids apple's warranty on device.

singapore of course not alone in restrictions on camera-enabled phones, many other governments , private companies place restrictions on such devices in sensitive locations. effort singapore's carriers appears official , organized attempt address needs iphone users.

i'm guessing both front , cameras? replace , front pieces don't have holes camera? think solve problem of needing certificate verify cameras removed. if can make plates apple logo being transparent allow shine don't see why can't make ones without holes camera.
